Hungarian Proposal Could Trigger a Change in Animal Health Practices in the EU

With the goal of training more than 500 cattle and horse producers, the National Agrarian University (UNA) launched a diploma in Animal Health and veterinary workshops. "This program will be implemented by directors of UNA university centers, which we have located in Managua, Juigalpa, and Camoapa, through the coordinators of university academic programs in the field," said Regina Cuadra, a veterinarian and UNA professor.

At the initiative of Hungary, the possibility of introducing active vaccination at the EU level was also discussed in the European Union, which could be a solution to the animal diseases spreading across Europe and their serious economic consequences, the Minister of Agriculture stated in Brussels on Monday.
