Seven suffer smoke inhalation after fire breaks out in hotel, firefighters gain control of flames after over two hours of effort.

A 40-year-old man was moderately injured and six other people were slightly injured as a result of smoke inhalation in a fire that broke out at the King Solomon Hotel • Guests were evacuated from the scene as the fire spread • 15 fire crews are working to bring the blaze under control

Three trapped people were evacuated to hospitals in moderate and light condition. Firefighters, with the assistance of the Israel Police, evacuated floors 4-6 of the hotel. The police and firefighters are working to prevent the fire from spreading to other areas of the hotel. The commander of the Northern District of the Fire Services conducted a situation assessment at the scene together with the police and the hotel management.
