‘Kneecap’ on Beach Turns Out to Be Sea Potato
Furness Coastguard said the object was marine life, not human remains, after police and crews responded to reports from a beachgoer.

- "Crews established that it wasn't a human body part at all," a Furness Coastguard spokesman said, identifying the object as a sea potato or sea pork.
- Marking the object with a traffic cone, the informant helped emergency responders locate the beige item, prompting officials to express gratitude to the public.
