Huawei ICT Competition 2024-2025 Global Final Concludes: AI Empowers Education Transformation and ICT Talent Development

Huawei successfully concluded the 9th edition of the ICT Competition 2024-2025 with its final event and award presentation held in Shenzhen on May 24, 2025.
The event set a new record by drawing participation from more than 210 thousand individuals, including students and educators, representing upwards of 2,000 higher education institutions across over 100 countries.
The competition featured intense challenges across three tracks: Practice, Innovation, and Programming, with 179 teams from 48 countries competing for top honors.
Ritchie Peng highlighted the aim of fostering education and innovation by evolving competition topics that encourage participants to develop expertise in cloud computing, big data, and AI.
The event highlighted growing global digital transformation and talent shortages in AI and cybersecurity, promoting education initiatives to develop next-generation ICT skills.
