- On Oct. 15, 2025, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud announced the launch of King Salman Gate, a transformative multi-use development in Makkah, Saudi Arabia.
- Designed to back Public Investment Fund's strategy, the project by RUA AlHaram AlMakki Company will contribute to Saudi Vision 2030 by generating more than 300,000 jobs by 2036.
- Spanning up to 12 million sqm Gross Floor Area, the development includes residential, hospitality, commercial and cultural components with capacity for around 900,000 indoor and outdoor praying spaces and restores approximately 19,000 sqm of heritage sites.
- The project will enhance access to AlMasjid AlHaram and elevate service quality, while RUA AlHaram AlMakki commits to sustainable resource management and seamless public transport links.
- Blending heritage with modern living, the development connects integrated public transport networks and aims to position Makkah as a global benchmark for modern city planning.
