Representatives of Hřensko in the Děčín region have approved the opening of Edmund's Gorge, and thus the resumption of boating operations. One of the main tourist destinations in the Bohemian Switzerland National Park has been closed for safety reasons since a giant fire in 2022. The opening is scheduled for next week, but operations will be limited for now. A maximum of fifty people will be allowed on the boats per day.
Almost exactly three years after its closure, Edmund's Gorge in Bohemian Switzerland will reopen to tourists. It should welcome the first tourists in mid-July. Operation in Edmund's Gorge will be on a provisional basis for now.
