The historic meeting, held on a Sunday for the first time, saw Logan Bates steer home the winner for Cranbourne-based trainer Cindy Anderson in commanding fashion by nearly three lengths. Howlin’ Rain jumped well and led from start to finish across 2050 metres in the eight-horse race.…
