House fire reported in Carney

CARNEY, MD—Crews responded to a house fire in the Carney area on Wednesday evening. At around 6 p.m. on December 17, units responded to a dwelling fire in the 3300 block of Upton Road. Arriving personnel found heavy fire showing from the residence. Officials say the fire began in the kitchen. All occupants were able to evacuate the home and the fire was eventually extinguished. No injuries have been reported.
