Crews battle, extinguish house fire in Essex, Baltimore County officials say

Baltimore County fire crews battled and eventually extinguished a house fire in Essex on Tuesday night.

House fire reported in Essex

ESSEX, MD—Crews responded to a house fire in the Essex area on Tuesday evening. The fire was reported at just before 6 p.m. on March 24 in the 1800 block of Kittyhawk Road. Units arrived to find smoke and fire showing from a two-story dwelling. After initially receiving reports of people trapped inside the home, firefighters were able to account for all occupants. There has been no word on what caused the blaze.
