Hounslow Council is expanding its Community Hubs, with all 11 libraries set to offer local support services by the end of the year.
From February to April, 1,580 residents accessed help at hubs in Hounslow, Cranford, Brentford and Feltham, 650 more than last year. Brentford Hub, open Fridays 10am–2pm, recently hosted a rug-making workshop for older people, run by Hounslow Senior Trust. In the same period, 81% of visitors rated their experience as good, and 90% said they got the help they needed.
