Hotel project moves forward in West Point

The West Point Development Authority and Premier Hotel Corporation finalized plans for a 112-room Fairfield hotel after overcoming zoning and financial challenges.

The West Point Development Authority has been in talks with Tifton, Ga-based company Premier Hotel Corporation (PHC) about developing the land once owned by Coca-Cola at 1700 10th St. in West Point. The process began in October 2024, when the West Point Development Authority (WPDA) sent a letter of intent to PHC.
