ODESSA, Texas (KMID/KPEJ) - Midland High grad Bryce Hoppel finished fourth in the men's 800-meter race on Saturday in London. Hoppel finished with a time of 1:42:71, which is the ninth fastest 800-meter time in American history. The Midland native now owns three of the top-nine fastest 800-meter times, with his best time of 1:41:67, which he ran in the 2024 Paris Olympics.
