HOOKS PLANE CRASH KILLS 2 AND SPARKS GRASS FIRES

Two are dead when a Cessna 340 aircraft crashed and burst into flames on the south end of the runway at Hooks Airport. Klein Fire responded to the scene to extinguish the aircraft and several grass fires sparked by the crash. DPS is holding the scene for the FAA and NTSB who will investigate.
