Honoring Camp Utley's Civil War legacy
RACINE, Wis. — A new historical marker now honors Camp Utley, the Racine site where thousands of Wisconsin soldiers trained for the Civil War. Preservation Racine dedicated the marker on Thursday, June 18, at 1805 Wisconsin Avenue, with roughly 50 to 75 people in attendance.
