Hong Kong logs warmest winter on record, averaging 2 degrees Celsius above normal

The Hong Kong Observatory reported a mean winter temperature of 19.3C, with February 3C above normal and only five cold days recorded, one of the lowest on record.

Average temperature reached 19.3 degrees, with the Observatory attributing the warmth to a weaker-than-usual northeast monsoon.
