Honda And Acura EV Drivers Now Have Supercharger Access
UNITED STATES, JUL 22 – Honda and Acura EV owners can now use Tesla's 23,500+ Supercharger locations in the US with a $225 adapter and the Tesla app, improving charging convenience nationwide.
- On July 22, 2025, Honda Prologue and Acura ZDX gained access to Tesla’s Supercharger network, requiring a new NACS-to-CCS adapter and opening over 23,500 locations.
- The deal first announced in 2023 built on industry shifts after the NACS connector opened to other automakers, paving the way for today’s access.
- The adapter retails for US$225 through Honda and Acura dealers and the DreamShop online store, and drivers must use the Tesla app to initiate and pay for charging sessions.
- With 67,060 units sold by June 2025, over 67,000 owners gain charging ease, Ryan Harty said.
- By 2030, Honda and Acura EV owners are expected to have access to around 100,000 DC fast chargers across North America, and integration with HondaLink and Acura EV apps and plug-and-charge features is in development.
