Homan says having US-born children does not make people ‘immune’ from deportation
Tom Homan, the White House border czar, issued a warning that undocumented immigrants "cannot hide" from prosecution if they stay in the US illegally, emphasizing the need for registration with federal authorities.
Homan reported that around 1.4 million undocumented immigrants in the US have been instructed to leave but remain, underscoring the administration's aggressive immigration policy.
The Trump administration has deported 139,000 migrants since January 20, showcasing a commitment to strict border security despite challenges with funding and resources from Congress.
Homan advised immigrants to "get your affairs in order" and work with Immigration and Customs Enforcement, or use the CBP One Home app for voluntary departure from the US.
