Kumaraswamy on Thursday alleged that large scale diversion of land belonging to HMT in Bengaluru was directed between 1999 and 2004, with direct involvement of the then Urban Development Minister in the Congress government.

Union Minister HD Kumaraswamy alleged complicity in HMT land diversion during a past tenure. He directed officials to prepare a report on the alleged alienation of 175 acres.
