History: Wild Bill Hickok - Wild West Legend

‘Wild Bill’ Hickok was one of the more colorful characters in this area during the ‘Wild West.’ James Butler Hickok was a spy during the Civil War, later was a frontier scout, lawman, gambler and (briefly) a showman.
