By Marlon Sorto, CNN en Español U.S. federal immigration authorities have issued an immigration detainer against Salvadoran journalist Mario Guevara, who has been popular on social media for several years for documenting immigration raids and was detained over the weekend during a protest in the city of Doraville, in the Atlanta metropolitan area, Zach Gaeta, one of the reporter's attorneys, said Monday in a Facebook broadcast.
Since Donald Trump’s increased immigration raids, Guevara has gone on to tour Latin neighborhoods in search of ICE operatives.
