The soldier allegedly served under the 8717 battalion, a reserve unit from the Givati Brigade, which the Palestinian org. claims is linked with "systematic destruction of civilian infrastructure."
The Hind Rajab Foundation has filed another complaint with the Austrian authorities, this time against Ya'a, accusing him of, among other things, "war crimes" committed in Gaza during his service in the 8717th Battalion in the reserves. "This is a unit that has been repeatedly linked to the systematic destruction of civilian infrastructure in Gaza," the foundation claimed.
