Hillsboro-area man charged for alleged domestic assault, stealing

Nathan Hickam on June 3 was charged with two counts of domestic assault, unlawful possession of a firearm, stealing, tampering or attempting to tamper with a victim in a felony prosecution and armed criminal action after he allegedly fired a gun that he took from a woman he assaulted in a Hillsboro-area home.

Hunter 06/09/25 An Area transient was arrested after allegedly slapping his girlfriend and causing damage to her Coralville residence. The victim reportedly told police that 37-year-old Curtis Larson was at the residence at around 1am June 1st. He first punched a window and shattered it.
