Hillforts: a perspective from the Pentland Firth to the hinterlands of the western Mediterranean - Society of Antiquaries of Scotland

Amongst later prehistoric settlement types found in Scotland, hillforts offer particular scope for exploring diverse linkages through Britain and Ireland to the nearer continent.
