Higher costs, interest rates force residential development in Garland back to council

A previously approved residential development in Garland is headed back to the city council following higher than expected project costs and interest rates. The Garland City Council is set to consider the revised changes for the 13-acre mixed-use project during its Aug. 5 meeting following approval from the Garland Plan Commission earlier this week.
