Crews have completed the final connections to the top of the center span on a new bridge, marking a major construction milestone.

High Bridge Trail State Park to Undergo Construction on River Road Bridge - Modern Campground

Construction on the River Road bridge in Farmville will begin on July 6, but park visitors will still be able to access parts of the trail during this time.  The ongoing work will not impact access to High Bridge.  Guests can park at High Bridge Station and access the High Bridge.
