Hesterine de Reus leaves Ajax: 'It is better to part ways after this season'

Hesterine Reus will leave Ajax after this season. The coach of the women's team of the Amsterdam club had been employed since 1 July 2024 and still had a contract for over a year. Under the leadership of De Reus, Ajax is in third place in the Eredivisie with three rounds to go, one point behind FC Twente and PSV.

De Reus will not serve out her contract until 2026, she has only been in the team since July 1, 2024.
