Several Swedish media profiles have been affected by the fires in Los Angeles. Podcaster and author Sigge Eklund, Oscar winner Paul Ottosson and reality star Gunilla Perssons have all had their homes destroyed.

Podcast and author Sigge Eklund, 50, and his family have returned to their rundown house in Pacific Palisades. A lonely chimney remains among the ashes. “You have not really understood until you stand here, what breaks in the soul,” he tells SVT, who accompanied him.

Celebrity couple Malin and Sigge Eklund were among the hundreds of thousands of Los Angeles residents who were forced to evacuate due to the large fires in the area.
