HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) -- A spokesperson with HEMSI said that a woman was stabbed Sunday afternoon. At about 2:30 p.m., the Huntsville Police Department said officers responded to a possible shooting in the 2200 block of Sparkman Drive. However, when they arrived, they said they found no evidence of a shooting, though they did find a woman who had been injured after being assaulted with a knife.
