Helen Dorothy Phelps, 98, of Rising Sun, IN, passed away on Sunday, July 13th, 2025 at the home of her daughter. Helen was born in Somerset, KY on July 24, 1926, a daughter of the late Zula (Rainey) Bales and Jess Bales. She was one of 7 siblings. Helen married Orville Lee Phelps on January 12th, 1945. Helen and Orville were married 55 years until his passing on February 28th, 2000. Helen worked at the Avon manufacturing plant in Springdale, Ohio
