Following the General Directorate of Meteorology's orange code warning, heavy rain that started in Samsun during the night caused particularly strong precipitation in the Çarşamba district. Water accumulated on some streets and roads, causing disruptions to transportation. The highest rainfall in the Central Black Sea region was measured in Gülyalı district of Ordu at 95 kg/m² and in Taşova district of Amasya at 70.8 kg/m².
