The Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce's Saratoga Giant Pumpkinfest took place Saturday in downtown Saratoga Springs, kicking off the fall season and celebrating the local agricultural community. A highlight was the official weigh-off where growers from all over New York state and the Northeast brought the biggest pumpkins from their harvest and competed for the title of Heaviest Pumpkin of Year.
