According to the Andong Fire Department and other sources on the 9th, around 5 p.m. on the 7th, at a 'small stream water' located along the Nakdong River in Andong City
A 1.5-meter-long rat snake was discovered at Silgaecheon Mulgil Park, a popular water recreation spot in Andong, Gyeongbuk, causing a commotion as citizens evacuated. Fire authorities were dispatched, captured the snake, and released it into a safe mountain area. The rat snake is classified as a Class 2 endangered wild animal; although it is non-venomous, it resembles a pit viper in appearance.
