Heartbroken Family Left Picking Through Debris After Suspicious Okanagan Death

Cindy Walsh, a 57-year-old resident of West Kelowna, was discovered deceased inside the Westview Village Mobile Home Community residence where she lived, following a wellness check conducted on May 3.
Her brother, Mike Lind, called the wellness check after the family had not heard from Cindy or her mother for over a week, leading RCMP to classify the death as suspicious.
The investigation is being conducted by the Southeast regional Major Crime Unit of the British Columbia RCMP, and the family is urging anyone with relevant information to contact their dedicated information line.
Lind described Cindy as a beautiful person with the biggest heart imaginable whose life was taken in a terrible way, and he hopes the investigation will reveal what happened to her.
The incident has left the family heartbroken as Justin Walsh, Cindy's son, visited the property for the first time since her death, while the cause of death remains unreleased.
