A Talladega man died in a head-on collision Saturday evening near Talladega, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.An ALEA statement released Sunday said that Demetrius L. Pope, 51, was driving a 2019 Toyota Camry that collided head-on with a 2012 Dodge Caravan driven by Felicia A.R. Gober, 39, of Munford. Pope was pronounced dead at the scene and Gober was airlifted to UAB Hospital for treatment.
