Abdullah Aydın, one of the citizens who tried to intervene in the forest fire that started in Karagedik neighborhood of Fethiye district of Muğla and spread to Foça neighborhood with his tractor, was trapped in the flames. Aydın, who saved his life by escaping at the last moment, lost his tractor in the fire and was taken to the hospital for treatment; "If I hadn't escaped, I would have been burned," he said.
