An Oakland County man has been charged with child abuse after first responders found his newborn son with a broken arm, multiple fractures and bruising.

On Oct. 1, officers were dispatched to a home in Hazel Park on a report of a baby with a broken arm. Officers arrived to observe a 4-week-old baby that exhibited pain from the right shoulder and bruising above the left eye. The baby was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
