Western Christian bests Bandon for Oregon Class 2A girls basketball championship

Western Christian was able to hold on late for a 45-40 win over Bandon on Saturday night in Pendleton, winning the OSAA Class 2A girls basketball state championship.The win is Western Christian’s second, and its first since renaming from Western Mennonite in 2017 (last title win was in 2015).
