Hawaii deserves clarity about the unresolved allegation that a legislator may have accepted $35,000 during the 2022 corruption probe. Like many, I’m frustrated that we still lack answers. More than half of today’s House members — myself included — were not serving then, yet this cloud hangs over all of us and continues to erode trust in our institutions.
