A 13-year-old Harlem Middle School student died Tuesday night after the E-bike he was riding crashed on Appling Harlem Road, according to the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office. Kenneth Faile Hood, of White Oak Road, Appling, was traveling south on State Route 47, also known as Appling Harlem Road, at about 8:15 p.m. when the front tire of the Surron-brand E-bike struck a tree limb lying across the paved shoulder, according to the accident report.…
