Hardee County advances proposal to redraw potential phosphate mining areas

Hardee County’s Planning and Zoning Board pushed forward Thursday proposed changes to a map that shows where phosphate may be mined in the future.  A few residents of the agriculture-focused county made their voices heard at the meeting.  Hardee County residents received letters indicating whether they were added or removed from the proposed map.
