HAPPENING NOW: Train derailment causes traffic delays in central Abilene

ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) - A train derailment has caused traffic delays in central Abilene. At least 3 train cars derailed off the tracks near S 3rd Street and Treadaway Boulevard around 11:30 a.m. Wednesday. All cars are upright, and there does not appear to be any debris scattered from the train's cargo. Traffic was stalled on Treadaway Boulevard in both directions near the scene of the incident.
