Happ homers twice as the Cubs hold off Raleigh and the Mariners for a 10-7 win
COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS, JUN 21 – Ian Happ drove in four runs with two homers as the Cubs hit five home runs, their season high, to maintain a 4½-game lead in the NL Central division.
The Chicago Cubs defeated the Seattle Mariners 10-7 at Wrigley Field on June 21, 2025.
The Cubs gained an early lead after Ian Happ and Kyle Tucker hit back-to-back home runs in the first inning.
Ian Happ added a three-run homer in the second inning, and Michael Busch contributed a three-run home run in the third inning.
The Cubs tied their season high with five home runs in the game, including a fifth-inning homer by Pete Crow-Armstrong, their center fielder.
