Hanoi increases bus, metro services to serve National Day parade on Monday (Sept 1)
The two metro lines in Hanoi will operate continuously from Monday (Sept 1) until early morning of Tuesday to meet travel demand expected to surge as people flock to Hanoi streets to witness the official National Day parade.
Before the official event celebrating the 80th anniversary of National Day on September 2, the Ministry of Health has just issued an urgent document instructing people on safety measures when participating, especially in the parade and marching ceremony on the morning of September 2.
Although many 3 and 4 star hotels in Hanoi announced that they were fully booked half a month ago, many people were selling rooms at shocking prices close to the parade.
