The Okinawa Convention & Visitors Bureau (OCVB) held its third extraordinary board meeting in Naha City on the 26th and approved a personnel plan to appoint former Nakagusuku village mayor Kyosuke Hamada (62) as the new chairman. The term of office is two years. Norihiro Meshima (54) will continue in his role as executive director. This is the first time that a former OCVB member has served as executive director for two consecutive terms.
