Half-Icelandic MP in the UK: Defended youth at Þingvallavatn

Markus Campbell-Savours, half-Icelandic member of the Conservatives, is one of 335 new MPs taking the oath in the lower house of Parliament after recent redrawing. His Icelandic mother, Guðrún Kristín Runólfsdóttir, was born and raised in Reykjavik. Campbell-Savours' father, Dale Campbell-Savours, served as a flight attendant when he met his mother.
