The European Union's special envoy for Cyprus, Johannes Hahn, has resigned due to other commitments, the European Commission (EC) announced on Monday. He was appointed in May last year to contribute to the reunification of the divided Mediterranean island, TASR reports, based on a report by the Politico portal.
