Haarlem resident Maud opens her toilet to King's Day visitors: 'There was even a queue'

Long queues to pee: it seems to be part of King's Day. This year, HEMA started a campaign to encourage people to open their toilets at home to the public. According to a survey among 1,000 respondents, forty percent of women leave early on King's Day because they cannot find a toilet in time.

During this edition of King's Day, there were about five hundred public toilets spread throughout the city.
