Hungary’s central bank probe summons former and current governors

Former Central Bank Governor György Matolcsy and former Minister of National Economy Mihály Varga, the current President of the Hungarian National Bank (MNB), will be questioned at their next meeting by the parliamentary investigative committee investigating abuses related to the operation of the MNB.
The next meeting of the committee will be held in 3-4 weeks, and they plan to hear Matolcsy and Varga in several rounds.
They decided so by unanimous vote.
Mihály Varga will appear in person before the committee investigating the MNB scandal - In addition to the central bank governor, György Matolcsy will also be questioned.
They plan to audition them in several rounds.
