South African investigator Cloete Murray, who looked into state corruptions, shot dead

A 50-year-old South African investigator Cloete Murray appointed to look into state corruption allegations was shot dead along with his son by unknown assailants in Johannesburg city on Saturday.  The incident happened when Murray was driving in the city along with his 28-year-old son Thomas. While Thomas succumbed to his injuries on the spot, Murray was taken to the hospital where he passed away, media reported said citing police officials.

A South African accountant who was investigating high-level corruption cases Cloete Murray (50), and his son Thomas (28), were shot by unknown gunmen on Saturday while they were driving in Johannesburg.

Cloet Murray, who investigated government corruption cases in South Africa, was shot to death by unidentified perpetrators. Murray's 28-year-old son also died from gunshot wounds at the scene, who was driving along Johannesburg along with his father at the time of the attack.
