The Border Security Force and Indian Coast Guard seized an engine-fitted boat and fishing equipment from 15 Pakistani fishermen caught fishing illegally in Indian waters near Kori Creek.
- On Sunday, the Border Security Force said it apprehended 15 Pakistani fishermen from Sujawal district and seized one engine-fitted country boat in Kori Creek, Kutch district, Gujarat.
- Acting on specific intelligence from the 68 Battalion of the BSF, a coordinated maritime operation with the Indian Coast Guard apprehended 15 fishermen found fishing illegally near BOP BBK.
- Officials said the boat carried 60 kilograms of fish, nine fishing nets, provisions including 30 kg atta, 15 kg rice, five kg sugar, three kg ghee, around 400 kilograms of ice, and 60 litres of diesel.
- All seized items have been taken into custody for further investigation, and officials said the operation demonstrates continued vigilance by India's border forces; the apprehended men were identified as residents of Jaati village, Sujawal district, Sindh province, Pakistan.
- The team departed Lakki Nala Jetty at 08:59 hours aboard FAC Prahar and reached the operation area by 10:50 hours, with the joint operation led by Ashok Kumar, 2IC , discovering 100 wooden sticks.
